Terms & ConditionsPART ONE: ABOUT THIS PASSPORT
The Luv’n the Loops Passport (“Passport”) is a digital savings pass to receive discounts at participating Passport Businesses from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. Passport Users create a free account on www.luvntheloops.com to view participating Passport Businesses. Passport Users receive a four-digit code at participating businesses to receive a pre-established Passport Discount (“Discount”), as well as collect a Digital Stamp (“Stamp”) in the Passport.
The Passport Business is the issuer of the Discount and is solely responsible for all matters pertaining to the redemption and use of the Discount.
Discounts are redeemable for certain goods, services, or experiences offered by, or facilitated through, the Passport Businesses identified on the Passport website.
Furthermore, the Passport Business is fully and solely responsible for the care and quality of all goods and services it provides to you and for all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs ("Liabilities") it may cause you to suffer, directly or indirectly, in full or in part, whether related to the use or redemption of a Discount or not.
Contests hosted by Tourism Kamloops may be held between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022 for the Luv’n the Loops Passport.
PART TWO: CONTEST RULES
The Prize and Closing Dates for the Contest will be available on www.luvntheloops.com
Requirements for Entrants
Passport Users are required to collect a minimum number of Stamps by the Closing Date.
Passport Users who collect the minimum number of stamps will automatically be Entrants.
Passport Users must follow current health guidelines set by British Columbia’s Provincial Health Officer when redeeming Discounts or Contest Prizes at Passport Businesses.
If applicable for Contests on Social Media Platforms, Entrants must have a valid Facebook or Instagram account before the Closing Date.
Contest Prize Restrictions
Limit one (1) Prize per Winner.
No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for any prize will be made. All prizes are awarded “as is” without warranty of any kind.
Each Entrant must be 19 years or older at the time of entering the Contest.
Publicity and Announcement of Winner
Prizes will be announced through digital communication channels including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and MailChimp. By entering this Contest you give Tourism Kamloops consent to have your personal information shared on these platforms, as well as on the Tourism Kamloops website.
Winners will be notified by the email address submitted at the time of submission.
If a Winner does not respond to Tourism Kamloops’ notification email within seven (7) days to claim the Winner’s Prize, the Winner will forfeit the Prize, and the Prize may be awarded to another Entrant, at Tourism Kamloops’ discretion.
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received during the Contest period.
No Purchase Necessary
There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest.
The Contest(s) shall be governed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Reservation of Rights
Tourism Kamloops reserves the right to terminate this Contest at any time or modify these Terms and Conditions by posting such amended terms and conditions on the Tourism Kamloops website, prior to the Closing Date, without any liability to You.
In the event that any portion of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid such offending portion shall be severed from these Terms and Conditions and shall not impact the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions which shall remain in full force and effect.
PART THREE: DEFINITIONS
“Bandwango, Inc.” or “Bandwango” is a software company and the website developer of the Luv’n the Loops Passport.
"Contest" means this Luv’n the Loops Passport contest administered by Tourism Kamloops in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
“Closing Date” means the date that the Contest ends.
“Entrant” or “You” means the individual that created a free Luv’n the Loops Passport account and collected the pre-established minimum of digital Stamps to enter a Contest.
"Passport Business” or “Business” means the businesses that have registered to participate in the Luv’n the Loops Passport program by offering a special discount when Passport Vouchers are redeemed.
“Luv’n the Loops Passport” or “Passport” means the Luv’n the Loops digital passport, which is accessible on digital devices with camera features such as smart phones and tablets. The Passport requires Entrants to create a free account in order to access discounts.
"Passport Discount” or “Discount” means the promotional discount that is available for You to redeem at Passport Businesses.
"Prize” means an award of pre-established goods and/or services.
“Prize Contributors” means businesses that have donated goods or services to participate in respective contests.
“Digital Stamp” or “Stamp” means the receipt of your Passport visit which is available to view on your Luv’n the Loops Passport account.
“Social Media Platforms” means internet-based platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
“Tourism Kamloops” or “We” means the Kamloops Tourism Marketing Society. Tourism Kamloops is the organizer of this Contest.
"Winner” means a person who is eligible to receive a Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
PART FOUR: RELEASE
By entering this Contest, You waive and release Bandwango and Tourism Kamloops including their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, and agents, (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any liabilities arising from, related to, or sustained in connection with any act or omission of a Passport Business, its employees, agents, contractors, and invitees, in connection with your use of a Passport Discount the goods, services or experiences a Business provides in connection with the Passport Voucher.
Services performed by the Released Parties are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Vouchers are redeemable for certain goods, services or experiences offered by, or facilitated through, the Merchant identified on the Voucher. The Merchant is the issuer of the Voucher and is solely responsible for all matters pertaining to the redemption and use of the Voucher. Furthermore, the Merchant is fully and solely responsible for the care and quality of all goods and services it provides to you and for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs ("Liabilities") it may cause you to suffer, directly or indirectly, in full or in part, whether related to the use or redemption of a Voucher or not. You waive and release Bandwango and Tourism Kamloops, including their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, and agents, (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any Liabilities arising from, related to, or sustained in connection with any act or omission of a Merchant, its employees, agents, contractors, and invitees, in connection with your use of a Voucher or the goods, services or experiences a Merchant provides in connection with the Voucher. Services performed by the Released Parties are provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Tourism Kamloops collects and uses your personal information, in accordance with the BC Personal Information Protection Act. Your information will be used for the purpose of administering this Contest and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Refund PolicyRefunds or exchanges on unredeemed vouchers are on a case to case basis. Please contact customer service via email at email@example.com, phone (888) 921-5333, or text (888) 921-5333. Restrictions apply.
Customer Service Hours: Monday - Sunday, 6 am PT - 6 pm PT.
Refunds: Refunds may be made on certain unredeemed vouchers only. Refund requests on events, attractions, and certain admissions will not be honored.
Extensions: Purchase Activation Extensions may be made in certain circumstances by reaching out to customer service to explain the reason for request and will only be considered on unused passes or items that are still within the activation period timeframe. Extensions will not be made in any event past 365 days of the purchase date. Extension requests on events and certain time sensitive admissions will not be honored.
